1981年9月出生于湖北省浠水县。2003年毕业于湖北大学,获学士学位。2006年湖北大学获硕士学位。2009年中科院化学所师从万立骏院士获物理化学专业博士学位。2011年加入中国科学院分子纳米结构与纳米技术重点实验室,先后任助理研究员与副研究员,2020年晋升为研究员。多年来一直从事扫描隧道显微术及表面科学方面的研究。以STM为主要研究手段,结合其它表面分析方法和理论模拟,对分子在材料表面的组装过程和化学反应中的基本科学问题等进行系列研究。已在包括Nature Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc.,PNAS,Chem. Commun.,J. Phys. Chem. C等国际期刊上发表文章30余篇。作为主持人正负责国家自然科学基金委优秀青年基金和国家自然科学基金委面上与青年基金多项。作为技术骨干参与完成了国家自然科学基金重大项目、重大国际合作研究项目等。
